Diane Hayes is Principal of our wonderful school. Diane has been Principal at St Mary’s since 1991 and is passionate about ensuring that children are given the best education that they can receive. Married to Juno – they have 8 children between them. Diane enjoys learning, travelling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Tina Reardon is our Deputy Principal, Director of Religious Studies and teaches the Year 3 & 4 children. She is passionate about helping all children succeed through empowering them to find their strengths and find their own voices in the classroom. This passion inspired her to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching for Learning and Behaviour. Tina lives in Mosgiel with her husband Josh and daughter Mila. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys traveling.
Shayla Rowley teaches the Year 5 and 6 children. She lives in Dunedin with her partner, Jared. Shayla is passionate that students learn the best when they are in a positive learning environment where they feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe with each other. Shayla is the Sports Co-ordinator at St Mary’s. Shayla enjoys travelling around New Zealand.
Katie Shaw teaches the NE – Year 1 children. She lives in Milton with her partner Benji and 3 children – Sophia, Benson and Louie. Katie enjoys following her partner round the country with his car racing.
Sandra Shaw is Office Administrator and has been a part of St Mary’s School for 29 years, being a parent, being a member of the Home and School and Chairperson of the BOT. All of her children – Katie, Alisha, Dion and Nicholas were educated at St Mary’s School.
Lyn Clark is Classroom Release Teacher. She lives in Milton on a sheep farm with her husband Bryce and their 3 children. Lyn enjoys Art and Maori.
Nicola McKenzie is a Teacher’s Aide at St Mary’s and has worked with children of all ages for 15 years. Nicola lives with her husband and 9 year old daughter. Nicola’s interests are horses, walking, scrapbooking and spending time at her beach house with her family.
Di Tait is a Teacher’s Aide at St Mary’s. Di loves working with children. She is married to Warren – has 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Di enjoys walking and handiwork.
