We have a large range of extra-curricula activities that enrich and enhance the learning experiences of our students

 

Pet Day

Pet Day is held every alternate year

Spring Fling

Pet Day is often incorporated with a "Spring Fling" where children are involved in the morning in a variety of activities which they display in the Hall.

Speech and Poetry Competitions

Children take part in our schools Speech and Poetry Competition.  Winners take part in the local Schools’ Speech and Poetry Competition.

 

School Garden

We have a school garden.  Each class has a plot that they are responsible for.  Vegetables grown are used to make soup for the local Food Bank or are delivered around the town to people in need.

Visiting Performers

We encourage visiting performers and or speakers into our school to enrich the education of our children.

 

School Ski Trips

School Ski Trips are made available to our school families at a cheaper rate.

 

Kapa Haka

We have a Kapa Haka group who perform for Matariki, Assembly, the Polyfest and for the local Waiora Wellness Exhibition.
