Lunch Time Activities

Wet Days

The classrooms in the main block are designated for the following activities:  Room 1 – Making & Doing, Room 2 – Movie, Room 3 – Board Games.  Children from Room 4 are encouraged to supervise the children.

 

Choir

Years 3 - 6 children are given the opportunity to join the School Choir. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday's at lunch time.

 

Dance Class

Dance classes are available in Term 2 & 3 at lunch times.

 

Kapa Haka Group

Children are given the opportunity to join a Kapa Haka group.

 

Running Club

There is a Running Club in the school.

 

Athletics

During the summer months, athletics equipment is arranged so that the children can practice skills.

Sports Equipment

A variety of sports equipment is made available to the children at lunch times, throughout the year.

 

Playground

We have an exciting adventure playground that includes a confidence course that the children all enjoy.
