Outdoor Education is recognised as a priority at St Mary's School

 

Beach Education

Beach education is a priority and children participate in a bi-annual visit to a local beach where Otago Lifesaving Members instruct our children in beach safety.

Bi-Annual Trip to a Marae

Year 3 & 4 children spend a day at a local Marae to encourage learning.

 

Bi-Annual Overnight Stay at the Otago Museum

Year 3 & 4 children may spend a night at the Otago Museum where they participate in a fun and educational learning experience.

Bike Wise

This is held annually, and is taken by the Police Education Officer.
